From the Principal!

Greetings West Utica Families,

We have had an assume opening to our 2018-2019 school year and West Utica is roaring ahead at full steam!

Halloween is coming around the bend and with that comes the fun and excitement of Halloween costumes.  In order to make Halloween a fun event for everyone we must refrain from wearing costumes of a violent or adult nature.  This includes costumes with blood, gore, or weapons.  Children who bring inappropriate costumes to school will not be allowed to wear them.  In addition if your child requires makeup for his/her costume the makeup must be applied at home before school.

On October 26th the West Utica PTO and Trinity Lutheran Church of Utica will partner to host our annual Trunk or Treat celebration.  The celebration will occur here at West Utica on our north field.  Admission will be $3 per child.  The event will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  We are still in need of more Trunks for the celebration.  If you would like to donate candy, please drop it off in the office.   I hope to see everyone here for the fun.

I would like to once again thank all of our wonderful parents for helping us get off to a great start to the school year.  Together we all make West Utica  a great place for children.
